The airflow design, the build quality, the way the walnut and oak complement each other, everything about my Lani Lobes screams precision. Erik’s decade of experience shows. San Francisco has a lot of makers, but Needham Woodworks is in a league of its own.

A dining table is the heart of a home, where meals turn into memories, and where your space says who you’ve become.
The Lani Dines honors that role. A modern trestle design with architectural presence, it’s crafted from premium hardwoods to last for generations. Choose solid American white oak for crisp permanence, or solid black walnut for depth and drama, each enriched with subtle brass detailing that catches light like a line of gold. Offered in 8-foot and 10-foot formats, the table is as versatile as it is enduring.
Decide how the brass and hardwood converse:
One Brass Detail — a single luminous line, refined and minimal.
Two Brass Details — twin lines, balanced and understated.
Three Brass Details — a bolder, more rhythmic presence.
Split Top — a graceful divide, edged in brass, that frames absence as form.
Channeled Split Top — a recessed channel running the length of the table, bordered by brass, sculptural and modern.
Solid White Oak — no ornament needed; a crisp, classic trestle-base in pure white oak, timeless in its simplicity.
Finish options include a straight edge for crisp simplicity, or a deep chamfer that softens the form with shadow and light.
The Lani Dines is not just a table, it’s the centerpiece of a home that reflects permanence, taste, and presence.
Every Lani Dines is built from solid hardwood. By nature, no two tables are alike — grain patterns shift from subtle to dramatic, carrying the character of each tree. The table you receive won’t match the photos exactly; it will be even more uniquely yours.
This design is not mass-produced. Only 500 Lani Dines tables will ever be made. Once this run is complete, the design will be retired forever.
While the Lani Dines is offered in spectacular stock forms at eight and ten feet, some visions call for more.
For those who wish to go beyond, we offer bespoke variations. Dimensions may be refined, proportions reimagined, and materials elevated, from rare hardwoods to bold, one-of-a-kind interpretations. Each commission becomes a statement piece tailored to its home.
